Nutritional therapy - the magic of food

Lola Plantain.jpg

Good health starts in the gut - so its always a good idea to feed it well. Lola’s approach to nutrition is based on the principles of functional medicine – treating system imbalances by addressing the underlying causes of disease using nutritious + delicious foods, supporting supplements and simple lifestyles changes.

Functional nutrition takes a 360 approach to health, using important tools such as in-depth patient centred consultations, functional testing and behaviour and symptom tracking, used to help identify root causes and enhance personalised plans. While women’s health is a focus, Lola runs a totally inclusive practice that encourages a whole-body approach, essential to understanding the inter-connectedness of all the systems in the body. Some common clinical concerns:

  • Women’s health

  • Menstrual cycle health

  • Supplement advice

  • Functional testing

  • Mood/psycho-emotional health

  • Weight management

“Genetically we all have unique nutritional needs, which is why personalised nutrition is so important to optimal health.”
